Over 1 Hour of New Dust 514 Closed Beta Gameplay

The YouTube user demoncheck recently got admitted to the Dust 514 Closed Beta, and out of the kindness of his heart, has proceeded to upload over an hour of footage to YouTube. The footage found below and after the jump, shows your base where you can purchase equipment, and various battle scenarios. The game looks pretty bland, and slightly uninspired, but luckily enough, this is just the beta. Hopefully when this releases this summer on the PSN, the game will be good, if not, at least it's free!

We discussing YouTube users? How about we talk about the game, looks pretty poor IMO, gunplay looks horrid, FPS view is terrible, shouldn't these be things to look at when creating a shooter? I love the promise of the game, the potential is great, but this will end up another, soon forgotten PS shooter/game.

Considering its a closed BETA test which is more than likely using an extremely old build (they said in the latest dustbase podcast possibly older then Fanfest build) it shouldn't look good. This is the problem with people uploading videos under NDA, it casts a bad light on the game when it was never intended to be shown to the public to begin with.

Anyway I'll be playing the Wonderful Planetside 2 and the Awesome Firefall. I'm already playing Tribes:Ascend and Blacklight Retribution and all four games look and play way better than Dust 514

Closed BETA - not your typical glorified demo. This is reportedly an old build. Hence the reason people are under an NDA.

Honestly not expecting much from this game. Once its out I see it scoring in the 5-7 range. Good ideas just poorly executed.
