Silent Hill: Land of the locked door

Writer Andy Astruc discusses his deep hatred of doors in video games, and how they made Silent Hill into a slightly creepy version of an Easter egg hunt. Without the fun or the chocolate. Then backtrack all the way to the first paragraph because you forgot to pick up the crank from the box under the gnarled tree. (Culture, Silent Hill)

The first three Silent Hill games are pure genius. But I have to admit that this article made me smile. Fun read.
