Alien Spidy wasn’t ever a Vita game, developer used Vita hype to get publisher attention

Publisher behind Alien Spidy admits there wasn't a Vita SKU of the title in development, despite the game being announced for Vita at Gamescom 2011. The representative said it was pitched as a Vita title because Sony was pushing Vita games. (Alien Spidy, Dev, Industry, Kalypso Media, PS Vita, Sony)

Really?
That is some way to betray the loyal people that where looking forward to fun launch titles to play on their VITA.

it depends on whether this has been taken out of context. they could have pitched it as a Vita game because that was what Sony was promoting or going to promote, but Sony asked them to make it a PSN game instead. don't trust these headlines... EVER

Considering it's now confirmed for the PSN, XBLA and PC. No...I don't think Sony asked them to do anything.

thats just plain false advertising, even ignoring that its a pretty lame thing to do. What does it say about your game that you had to do that to get anyone to notice it in the first place.

These guys should be a ashamed of themselves. Now, they should at least get the game ported over to the VITA asap for being a troll.
