Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Review | The Controller Online

The Controller Online writes:

"Minecraft, the game that has swept the PC and mobile world by storm, arrives this week on the Xbox Live Arcade, and I was pretty excited to see what all the fuss has been about. Is it really as good as the millions of obsessed gamers claim it to be, and is it worth the high 1600 MS Point price tag? The simple answer is Yes." (Minecraft, Xbox 360) 9/10

I'm really excited to finally get a chance to play Minecraft. It looks like a game I could definitely get into and play for a long long time.

If you were really excited then you would've already had it on PC. You know, the version that DOESN'T have invisible walls & smaller worlds.

I would love to play it on PC. Only problem is that I don't have a PC haha. I mean I have a laptop I bought for school back in like 2006, but unfortunately, Minecraft runs horrendously, as do most games. My laptop can run literally zero games. It was purchased strictly for school purposes at the time, so its to be expected.

Yet, I'm totally cool with the "smaller" version of Minecraft. From what I've seen its still essentially the exact same game. I would have no other way to play it otherwise.

I really don't think it's worth the 1600 point price tag. I mean, it's great for what it is but I wouldn't pay more than $15 at the very most for it, which was the price of the beta. I got dozens of hours out of that game and I still think that, because there still remains to be anything too substantial to it.
