The story is too old to be commented.

Well guess what, vita uses android os, a very modded one at that, but still uses android. So guess who has the better games, android ;)

edit: oh wait I forgot that this is the generation where its all about the sales and where better games don't matter.

Te point of that was? Better is subjective.

As far as SMARTPHONE GAMING goes, yes, Apple is winning the race against Android because Apple is already standard for this kind of experience.

But yeah... I am not really a smartphone gamer, so I don't really care about Android x IOS.

I want to play bigger games on my Vita/3DS (true gaming machines) like Uncharted, Resident Evil Revelations, SSFxTekken Vita, Zelda, Resistence, Mario etc etc.

This doesn't really shock me. I'm not saying either is better than the other, but I feel like Apple is sort of a status symbol. Kind of like Rolex.

Apple will continue to win on the smartphone world. A lot of great games are on it that Android will never get. Not being a fanboy or anything, but its true.

Publishers are finding iOS to be a place where their games will sell. The App Store's a ton better to browse than the Android Market (although it's certainly not perfect), and there just isn't much for games on WP7 at the moment. So, iOS is the springboard, everything else comes later.

Now, if Google or Microsoft sustainably invest a ton of money into some great indie developers to make great games for their smartphones and tablets, this may change, or at least even out. But... look at the Android Market! There's some great quasi-legal stuff you can do with Droids, like emulation, but as far as support for indie devs goes, they're not matching Apple at all. Neither are Android's customers. So the games go elsewhere.

iOS has some really fun and deep games. I think Android is better from an efficiency standpont but I don't get the hate from all the Android users that say that iOS games are only for casuals. Angry Birds isn't the only game on iOS. Games like Modern Combat 3, Real Racing 2, and Infinity Blade are perfect examples of how good iOS games can be.
