Is Lucas Arts gearing up for KOTOR 3? KOTOR 1 & 2 Bundle coming this Summer

Technically, all of the "dead code" containing more dialogue is there for the taking (look at Project Gikza). That could be essentially polished by any studio.

Kotor is of course a great game but yea Dark Forces was truly something.

When I heard about SW:FU I thought they would make it like a much more updated version of dark forces with a new plot but dam lol I guess no SW game can match up to that.

I wouldn't want them to even attempt to make Kotor 3....they would outsource it to some terrible studio like Obsidian and Bioware would just screw it up by making it too mainstream/casual....

Obsidian did quite well, but they were rushed and cut a fragment of the game up.

Bioware is not Bioware. Its EA-Bioware. Get it right.

Well as for KOTOR 3. If TOR starts to fail which some say it might. Then a KOTOR 3 game would only strengthen the lore of SWTOR. So its a win/win if they do decide to go with developing it.

yeah i agree bioware totally...but Obsidian?! no way sir, Obsidian made kotor better with the sith lords and they are the last true RPG developers around, i mean, have you not played fallout new vegas? the TRUE fallout 3? exactly...

One could be inclined to believe this re-release could be another focus test, like that of Shadows of the Empire basically was for the prequels. And stop killing my dreams!

Oh man i loved Shadows of the Empire. I must have beat that 20 times back in the day, the boba fett boss fight was the coolest thing ever for me i was a huge boba fett fan.

I wish they would release a 360 collection of the Kotors. I really dont know why they havent made 3. The mmo is cool for pc folks but its not the same as the sp games. Make it happen Lucas pronto!

I never got to play them, so yes this is exactly what I want. Because they're impossible to find. Not everyone had an Xbox last gen, and I bet I'm not the only one who wants this.

@shadow2797 must not be much of a star wars or good video games fan to have let that one slip for 8 years! seriously its been out for 8 fucking years where have you been, and its been out that long for the pc as well. and im sure your not the only one who does want an extremely old game, but then again you must not have the internet either because you could download the games with no effort off of any torrent or file share forum site.

Just make sure a developer who actually makes RPG dose the game, bioware went to the dumps and obsidian ruined the second game and still has not made a good game.

Pick a good developer and I will totally be on board so many hours of my youth went into the first game

Love Kotor better than Mass Effect, an I'm not a turn based RPG Fan. Kotor is one of the few turn based RPGs I like.

Star Wars: The Old Republic and the Revan book kind of ruins the chances of a KOTOR 3, unless they essentially do a game based on the Revan book. The story of Revan and Meetra (the Exile) has been told and there is even a Flashpoint in SWTOR that kind of wraps it up. I mean, if they essentially make the Revan book a playable game... I am totally all for it. I just don't see it happening...
