IGN | David Jaffe has two ideas for his next game, and one has a gun.
When God of War and Twisted Metal director David Jaffe saw the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 trailer, the set pieces intrigued him for the first time in a while.
"I love the genre, but I feel it has been allowed to go a little -- well, actually, quite a lot -- stale when it comes to moment to moment mechanics," he said, noting RPG mechanics have shifted the focus from how similar enemy encounters are. "I'm hoping to see that iterated on in the future.
David (respect the hell out of this guy) has nothing to do with God of War or Sony. He left Eat Sleep Play and formed his own indie company?
So I don't get how someone who has no influence on god of war anymore can determine what the next game in the series will be. Can someone explain that to me?
Not Santa Monica Studios next game.. This has nothing to do with what's next for God of War, or the series.
And as Reborn said, if you actually read anything before commenting (hell, the little paragraph still on this page, not even the linked article), you'd notice that the article is talking about "His" next game, what the next game in the God of War series will be.
Then again, reading is hard...
