Out of this 20 though even for PSVita/PS3 that seems rather high count. Unless a few PS4 titles are in the mix. I remember when PS3 was announced we saw like 8+ new game CGI trailers. Just saying. Some were just vapor, but others have made outstanding success. I can't wait for KILLZONE 4 PS4 CGI trailer. :P

I laugh when I hear or see people try to disrespect Sony when they are obviously the best game company in the world. They don't rely on a handful of ip's like Nintendo, they actually keep making new games and continue story-lines of others. Think of a genre of gaming and Sony has an exclusive title that fits it.
When Nintendo fans think about a new Nintendo system, they are thinking of playing the same handful of ips that Nintendo has been making for years and that is ok. When xbox fans think of a new xbox its the same , thinking of a handful of games. When majority of Sony fans think of a new Sony gaming system, they think of a lot of new ips and sequels to many Sony ips and not just a handful.

Just a reminder about some of the new IPs Microsoft published this generation:

This is over 10 new IPs for this generation just from the top of my head, and I'm excluding some older franchises that didn't even make an appearance last gen so Xbox owners probably weren't expecting them (Banjo, Perfect Dark), excluding Kinect games and some causal crap, and excluding Arcade games because if we include new IPs on XBLA there isn't even a competition.
True, some of these games weren't very good, but others became some of the most critically acclaimed series this gen. It's a risky business after all and no publisher manages to nail all of their games.
I assume your ignorance comes from owning just a single console both this gen and last gen. Otherwise you would have probably been more familiar with what games were available on other platforms last gen and what games are available now.
I assume that next gen will be the same: a few select franchises will carry over while the rest will be abandoned, and new experiences will be introduced. But until we hear about them announced, we can only expect the things we are familiar with. This is regardless of which console you own. It's probably just like owners of the PS2 were expecting to see on the PS3 new iterations of games like God of War, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear, Killzone etc. - that's just how things work.

I expect the Last of Us to have it. It seems tailor made for Move(using Move to shoot a gun or swing a pipe).
Don't know what the hell ND's problem is. They keep making excuses for not putting Move in the game by saying they don't want to "tack it on". Well...why not just do it right for the fans who want the option to use a great piece of hardware?
Infamous 2/Socom proved that Move works well with TPS games. As I said, don't know what the hell ND's issue with Move is.

What do you mean "already"? If it were announced this year and came out next year, you'd notice a development pattern that occurs for many other games. There were two years between Gears 1 and Gears 2, two years between GoW 1 and 2, 2 years between each Uncharted game, two years between F3 and FNV, two years between Rainbow Six Vegas and RSV2, two years between inFAMOUS 1 and inFAMOUS 2...
So, uh, this isn't abnormal or anything.

I know I'm in the minority here, but being a person that played the game back in the mid 90s, I would love to see a port of the upcoming XCOM for PSV. The touch controls are perfect for a game like this.

The Sony gamer, being the superior gamer, doesn't care whether Angry Birds Sequel #5 or Kinect Star Wars: Jar Jar Binks Karaoke Edition outsell all other Sony exlusives. Instead, the superior Sony gamer only cares about videogaming bliss in the form of high-quality Sony games.

Sony may announce 20 new "gaming experiences", but in the end, many of them will collect dust on store shelves while most of the PS3 gamers that you love will be playing Madden 13, Black Ops 2 and GTA 5 (just like most other gamers on other consoles).

That said, to say Sony exclusives don't sell makes you look stupid. Heavy Rain, a niche (albeit intriguing) title and a new IP at that, sold over 2mil copies. The Uncharted series sits at 15mil+ copies sold, GoW3 is 4mil+ and Gran Turismo is at 7mil+. Hell even the first Infamous broke 2mil. CoD, GTA, etc., selling on the PS3 is just a plus for Sony and their customers.
People believing only MS and Nintendo can sell software are actively believing a myth.
I never said that PS3 exclusives don't sell. I said that the Call of Duty games sell more than any Sony exclusive. It's the truth. The top three selling PS3 games are COD games. Maybe Sony should buy an exclusivity agreement with Activision because the PS3 is more dependent on COD that the 360 is.

They still have Agent, TLG, Quantic Dreams next game. And in case you forgot, Journey was released and a new PS Move exclusive The Unfinished Swan. There's Sorcery and the upcoming localization of Gravity Rush.
There's still Starhawk (spiritual sequel) and the PS-all stars. Oh and I almost forgot, they have "The Last of Us".
So tell us again why you are only seeing "sequels" in this conference? Because it seems to me, the only conference that will have that in spades is the MS one and it will START with Black Ops II and end with Halo 4.

You misinterpret my post. I was simply responding to the "sequel" statement by providing sources that point the other direction. Using Journey as a sample, it showcases the fact the SONY doesn't pump out sequels as one may claim.
I even gave the header "Though unconfirmed" it is still in SONY's cards to announce Agent and TLG and QD's game (versus XIII can be included) as these are not "sequels" in their own right and not giving a "list" as you claim.
In short, we are more likely going to see new IP's on the conference as opposed to the "more than sequels" idea which Element X is expecting. Or do you have any other points to prove otherwise?

They also need to announce a ps home vita, new vita games, a better video store, unification of video and music store with a better pricing structure, more Vita and PS3 games where you buy one but u get the Vita copy free or vice versa. Sony Smart watch should also somehow play a part e.g u can use it as a remote for the ps3 or check trophies etc.
There are a ton of amazing things Sony could show and or bring to the table.
