Hybrid Beta Impressions (MasonicGamer.com)

MasonicGamer.com - When I heard that 5th Cell, the studio behind Scribblenauts, were releasing a shooter, my mind began racing with the possibilities. Unfortunately, the game has nothing to do with their unique DS adventure – no typing in the names of guns you want to use, and no puzzle solving. Although disappointed that I wouldn’t be equipping my character with a pogo stick and flamethrower before showering my opponents with zombie velociraptors, I still decided to give it a go. As it turns out, the game has some pretty innovative features of its own that should help set it apart from all the other online weapon-based titles.

The game is known as Hybrid, and its set sometime in the future. By this point, a great disaster has destroyed Australia and left the rest of humanity desperately searching for Dark Matter, a substance that could help clean up the mess.
