The Elder Scrolls Online Is Coming And Why I Am Not That Excited

Ben Quy: It was announced today that the rumoured MMO set in the world of Tamriel is happening. Its been dubbed The Elder Scrolls Online by Bethesda, though to be honest I’m not sure if this is a good thing, but at least we have the first details about it!

haha this is funny, you seem to think everything is a waste of time so far... this is a gaming site with several gaming news, some people say video games are a waste of time so with that said, your wasting your time on this site... try and find something new to do...

but i personally think bethesda should drop this and work on a online fallout game :) that would be awesome !!

Ministerb, if you wanted to comment on The Elder Scrolls online, you should have kept it in a comment section; not make a half page worth of drivel that never goes anywhere, and post it on N4G for people like myself to read. You added nothing new, made no point, and barely put any effort into why you weren't that excited. All in all, a waste of my and other users time.

Newsflash Jon1234, I love video games, but I can't stand articles about them that are a waste of space and time. This is a gaming site that should have gaming NEWS, not opinion pieces that start, and never really go anywhere, much less provide any "News". This has nothing to do with how I spend my time, but has everything to do with me having a problem with the low quality of these so-called articles.

I'm not really into MMO's BUT(!) don't they have the reputation to be buggy? If so, Elder Scrolls + MMO = *exploding bomb*. But is this true about MMO's being buggy?

Elder Scrolls has always been a solo player game, never multiplayer, so playing the game will be with the solo mentality. The only way I can see the game being successful would be very small servers/shards, where the community is very tight and everyone knows each other.

If it goes P2P and has very large servers/shards it will fail. Also to add all the negative stereotypes of people in MMOs, it will be very hard to pull it off.
