First English screenshots revealed for Xbox 360 exclusive, Crimson Dragon

The first English screenshots have been revealed by Microsoft for the upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive title, Crimson Dragon, which is the spiritual successor to the Panzer Dragoon series.

Well I guess that is all how in you look at it. Gears 3 was 6 months ago, Halo CEA was 5 months ago, Alan Wake on XBLA was a few months ago, Witcher 2 just came out though, Trials just came out as well, Fez and Fable Heroes just released as well.

I'm looking forward to this game and Steel Battalion looks very interesting.

I might be wrong but I remember this being announced as one of the first hardcore Kinect titles at TGS in 2010.

just from the way the UI looks, it was designed for something with a point and click interface.

no developer in their right mind would make that interface for use with a gamepad

You do realize that this is the spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon right? Also, that game was fully on rails. The series has always been on rails, it makes sense to put it on Kinect and it looks pretty good.

I get the feeling people are hating on a game because it actually looks pretty good and yet its on Kinect.

Have you played Panzer Dragoon? It was more of a RPG in my opinion. And i thought they did a good job on how it was made. It does not make sense to be a kinect game.what am i gonna point to the attack or item i want to use? They may make it work but judging from the games i have played and bought for my kinect i am not a fan. I would of liked this to be a non kinect game since i am a fan of Panzer Dragoon. I think Kinect has potential but this aint it. just my $0.02

@Mottsy Of course I've played Panzer Dragoon, I have it for my original Xbox. Have you ever used Kinect? It uses hand gestures all the time to select what to shoot or what weapons to pick. It could even use voice commands (like ME3) to switch weapons or change things up. Sounds like a perfect match to me.

Kinect works best with rails shooters and that is what Crimson Dragon is. Even with its RPG elements.

Yes i own a Kinect and so far every game is klunky and not very fluid. I only really use the kinect for when people are over , socially long story short, but my hardcore games i would hate to use the kinect. Gunstringer is also a rail shooter but not very RPGish. If they make it work then trust me, im all for it, but am i doubtful? Very much so.
