Speaking to Official PlayStation Magazine UK Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia has hinted at the future of Black Ops 2 zombies.
Wow, Treyarch's really going all out on this. Looking forward to seeing some of these changes. But what good is 8 players if the servers keep kicking people? I hope they take a long, hard look at that and come to a conclusion that, "Hey! We need dedicated servers for this" or at least better netcode.
In fairness when certain players get kicked it usually isn't the game's fault. A large amount of the online community doesn't understand how to configure their network for online play. Yes, the netcode could be better at times, but a lot of the time people need not blame the games. This isn't just a call of duty thing. A pile of players don't bother working out their router settings, more play on wireless networks with low signal, and another one is trying to play online with the lowest speed DSL available. Not saying that the game doesn't kick people at times because it does, but more often than not it isn't a game issue that causes connectivity issues. If you play on a low latency feed with a properly configured connection you rarely have problems. The only problem is that you run into is players who aren't.
Good news! At least Treyarch is trying to bring as much as they can for your dollars, got to give them credit.
Holy shit must buy
While I'm pleased to hear that, I still can't justify throwing $60 at Activision just for the zombies; and I say that because I won't be playing online multiplayer, nor will I play the undoubtedly half-assed campaign either.
Call Of Duty campaigns are never ''half-assed'' . The constraints of the engine prevent them from being as creative as they could be. I think the campaigns are as good as you could squeeze out of that engine before it gets tedious.
You are so wrong, it's not even funny. I don't give a damn about the engine or its restrictions; that doesn't mean that Activision still can't outstretch their creativity with the engine they're using. Furthermore, when I said half-assed, I was referring to the story, the execution of the missions, the length, etc. "Gets" tedious? Call of Duty gameplay has been tedious since Modern Warfare 2, if not earlier.
'' I don't give a damn about the engine or its restrictions; that doesn't mean that Activision still can't outstretch their creativity with the engine they're using.'' That's exactly what it means. The COD engine is tired and outdated. I think they've done well.
Black Ops campaign was MUCH better than MW3's campaign to be honest. I played and beat both of them just yesterday and I can say that Treyarch's team surpassed IW in the story department.
$20-$30 map packs
About time. I was getting bloody annoyed that when I played zombies, there was just one objective. Survive. How dull that gets so fast.
If there is 8 players I hope there is a 4 vs 4 mode with zombies running around in between, that would be the shit!!
thats called Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City lol.
Or UC3 Hunter co-op n
