Ninja Gaiden 3 Review | Game Crunch

Ninja Gaiden 3 is a game that suffers from a terrible case of streamlining and plain laziness in gameplay development. All of this has turned this franchise for the hardcore anti-button masher crowd to something of mere mediocre mashing. It also could have been one of the most interesting games of the series but Ryu’s character study took a backseat to the painful repetitive slaughtering. (Ninja Gaiden 3, PS3, Xbox 360) 5.5/10

Is this game that bad, or just did not live up to the hype?

i found it very good, the cinematics are better than previous games, my only problem is with the outdated background graphics.

the reviewers are upset because this game has an "easy" OPTION unlike the strictly hardcore NG 1&2

The problem with this game...it was too repetitive..it's seem to have the same problem that dmc2 had..u only had one sword and u couldn't even upgrade to get new moves

I just played the demo for part 3, but between the ridiculous button mashing required, to the mandatory execution of a unarmed and non hostile enemy soldier it was enough to make me pass on it entirely.
