This would be a great move for Nintendo there revenue would skyrocket problem is that the hardware would be cannibalize, I think people would still buy the hardware but not at a rate that Nintendo would be used to. This will not happen until Nintendo fails like Sega in the hardware department.

Well considering that Nintendo has only reported 1 annual loss, ever, I think that they are in the right business.

Sorry, I guess that you will just have to go out and buy a Nintendo console like everyone else. (Or) Just get a good emulator and some roms.
