Capcom's forthcoming action role playing game is said to contain hundreds of hours gameplay.
With or without the Disk locked missions? Don't believe the word of the Dev ever, wait for Reviewers to tell us the length(we can at least trust them on that)
Sadly, reviews never tell the correct length of anything but the main campaign. I'm quite sure Capcom here is referring to most sidequests and optional areas in the world. Still, though, "hundreds of hours" is obviously an exaggeration, albeit an incredibly vague one.
Although if you read the quote, an actual figure is given.
I don't really believe in reviewers for one. They rush themselves to get their review out first than anybody else, so they wouldn't do everything in-game to say an "actual" play time. I don't even believe on an "estimate" play time from them.
... and it only costs $10 to unlock each hour of content! I'm waiting until I know what is actually included before I consider buying it. It's capcom so there is no way this is a day one purchase for me.
wow, I was coming in here to make a similar comment ^__^ Imma still gonna do it, screw you brish! ;) *rubs palms together* So what, you'll have to pay to go beyond your play time? every 10 hours you get blocked and need to fork up 5 bucks to get another 10 hours.
I didn't mind the demo but i'll wait until this comes down in price.
Hopefully those hours aren't spent lurching through endless repetitive monster hack hunt repeat 'quests' as I suspect they may. We will see soon enough. The Demo was decent but I have some concerns.Likely wait until it is discounted as well,to be sure.
I loved the demo and am not much of an rpg fan. I do hope the side quests are more like the reckoning. That game was really awesome! Day one for me!
If by "hundreds of hours of gameplay" they mean "overleveling the zone you're questing in and repeatedly doing low level quests for little or no purpose" then a big ol' MEH Level scaling really is the way to go for open world sp rpgs. I'm so tired of having to find the "right place" to be for my level (Borderlands, Amalur, etc)
Level scaling blows. Setting out in a random direction, knowing I'll be able to kill whatever I meet, is boring. I'd rather see that huge creature I've never fought before and wonder if I'm ready for it yet.
Cannot wait for this game1
Something tells me you guys waiting for a mark down are going be waiting a long time. I'd bet this game is a hit for capcom and i hope theres lots of dlc for it. Don't worry i'll let you all know how good it is........
dmn, demo was to easy - and it is Capcom, hmmm need to cancel preorder - wait a few months... in capcom we trust NOT
Both sections of the demo have leveled up characters, and the monsters don't scale. I imagine the prologue quest in the final game will have leveled up characters also, but once you get to your real character's party, the first time meetings with the chimera and griffon will not go as smoothly as the demo. Anyway, I'm obsessed with this game and can't wait for it... but I must... GAH!
hope so, you know - its capcom, no wonder im lookin deception in there :)
