In 1996, Capcom’s Resident Evil placed gamers in the role of a member of a special task force trapped in a mysterious mansion filled with zombies. Later installments had the outbreak spread to the nearby city, before a new parasitic form of virus overtook European and African villages. On the other hand, Konami began producing its own survival horror franchise in 1999, with its installments centered on those who have ventured to a small eerie town caught within multiple dimensions. These are filled with monsters created from nightmares. But which is the better and more bone chilling franchise? Join WatchMojo.com as the Resident Evil Franchise throws it down with Silent Hill.
Resident Evil never really made me feel scared..just some tension in Resident Evil 4...
and im not one to be easily scared (unless it involved clowns)
Silent Hill has it hands down..baring some missteps..
They are both golden in their own right.....
I blame graphics whores and lazy devs who want COD's success.
