Japan's problem, like most everyone else though they'll also never admit it, is that they don't know what to do with the HD consoles. Not cheaply anyway.
It's not that the japanese don't inovate They just have there genre's that they are currently fixated on and aren't so much into bigger better prettier faster like everyone else is.
Didn't say innovation was their or other game dev problems, but rather the consoles that have seen improved graphics while gameplay has seen a kind of reverse.
One of the reasons there is the anit-Japanese mood is because a very large number of openly Japanese-game fans are very anti-Western, and that simply makes those who do not swear by Western titles feel the need to retaliate with the anti-Jap comments. Works both ways, too. Its a neverending cycle. Same with console wars. Im sure most people would be happy to have and love both PS3 and 360 (I wouldnt consider myself a modern gamer without enjoying both Uncharted and Halo!), but people are so used to seeing hateful comments to the one they prefer, that they've become almost violently defensive of it and must attack the other.
That is spot on. The number of people who find themselves in the middle of the road on this issue is very small. On the other hand, the number of people who feel they're on one side or the other is extremely high. And those people somewhat naturally find themselves defending things they love. It then devolves, naturally, into attacking whatever is the opposite of or competition for whatever it is they love.
To make matters worse, it's next to impossible for someone who simply prefers one over the other to be viewed as objective or anything BUT belonging to the camp he or she admittedly prefers. Even if all you've got is a moderate preference, you're automatically a fanboy.
It's a damn shame, but it seems like human nature. Or N4G nature, anyway.
Why Do u have to bring race into this? First and foremost that's not true look at skyrim, fallout, journey and more. You think next time before spouting rubish like that
