PSU.com extols Metal Gear Solid's 5 greatest boss battles of all time.
The End is best boss battle what i played in my life, and i think it will stay on 1st spot forever!
Incredible battle and one that should not be missed. However you can actually avoid the encounter altogether. When Snake rounds the corner in the swamp near the dock The End is being pushed in a wheel chair into the large entrance to the right. If you have you sniper rifle ready and you are fast enough you can hit the fuel barrels nearby and actually take out The End right there. Of course you'll miss a great boss battle as well as forgo his camouflage but it can be done. And Snake against The Boss or Solid Snake vs the Hind are just two fights that easily outrank Rex vs Ray.
There are 4 ways of beating him. I got to say MGS is truly incredible. They really put some originality and uniqueness into their games.
Rex vs Ray was one of the most boring fights ever. I can't believe he didn't include the best fight. Solid Snake vs Liquid Snake on top of Rex.
Dude, epic. lol
My favourites are: - The Boss - The End - Rex vs Ray - Liquid vs Solid on top of Rex - Ocelot/Liquid on top of Outer Haven
Solidus Snake (final) Liquid Ocelot (final) Vulcan Raven (final) The Microwave The End
Solid Snake vs The Hind-D in MGS1 is one of my favorites in the series. The thought of taking on a helicopter single-handedly scared the shit out of me as a kid. lol
My favorite is the Crying Wolf boss fight.
Even though it isn't in the top tier of fights in the Metal Gear Solid series, I still believe the fight against Vamp deserves a mention. I loved the style he used (I think it was Shadow Stitching) plus the extra dance move/clap combo always made me chuckle.....
No love for Fatman? Of course not...lol. It's all about the End and Mantis...
Laugh, and grow fat.
