Year-to-date sales for the PS3, 360, Wii, 3DS, DS, Vita, and PSP are now available (including software).
(3DS, Nintendo DS, PS Vita, PS3, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360)
Nice read. Nintendo and Sony looks to be doing well in Europe, US and Japan. Except for the Nintendo's Wii where the sales are declining in the US while the PS3 is managing to maintain good sales this year (even in the US). Microsoft seems to be having trouble WW though, but hopefully the US will push them ahead or on par with the other consoles in Nov/Dec.

i don't get your disagrees too is this happen here all the time ??? when you state facts you get disagrees ??? how the hell agrees or disagrees will change a FACT ???
@Dante112 The reason for your disagrees is your poor attempt to make the 360 look bad. You say that Nintendo is doing "well", while MS is having trouble.
Here's the real numbers straight from the article for MS & Nintendo:
360 WW - 1.78 million Wii WW - 1.28 million
I fail to see how selling 500,000 less consoles equates to doing better in your mind. Unless of course you are adding DS & 3DS sales to the Wii numbers. Having to resort to combining console and handheld numbers together to make a comparison against a competitor that offers only a console is incredibly biased on your part.
Console and handheld sales are separated in the article. By combining them in your analysis, you are distorting the numbers.
Just noticed that these sales are only up to March. Still pretty useful though (especially as proof that the Vita really did sell 225k (430K now) for the month of March in the US and 260k in Europe (now 380k). The PS3 is now leading WW for consoles this year as well lol.
Hardly. Last month's NPD number showed something like a 30,000 unit difference between the two systems with the 360 ahead. That difference was then equaled in two weeks of sales in Japan. And that's just a recent example.
If it were balanced or in favor of the 360, its lead would be growing regularly, instead of dwindling.

N4G should take Facebooks model and only allow for Agree's. Disagrees are unnecessary IMO.
3DS is killing in the Japanese market... and has been doing quite well in sales WW.
PS3 and X360 are doing well WW, with the PS3 going ahead. X360's japanese numbers are a joke.
Wii is doing ok sales, in spite of the announcement of the WiiU.
PSP and NDS should be approaching their retirement soon.

360 dominating in the US, beaten everywhere else by PS3.
PS3 BEST SELLING CONSOLE WORLDWIDE.
PS3 continuing to close the gap on 360.
