MTV Multiplayer blog is asking an interesting question today, MTV's Stephen Totilo seems of two minds about it, saying that he understands that a sequel could be an improvement, but wonders if the game isn't just right the way it is.
The sequel is a lie!!
But I do want portal gun in Episode 2!
i don't want a sequel, as the current one just feels right, but i'd definitely pay for some DLC with some really intricate, hard levels.
With a level creation system so we as players can create levels and share them over the PSN.
P.S. I would pay for this addition...
Well Portal is set in the Half Life universe so its possible that the women you played for the whole of game will meet Gordon Freeman, maybe give him the portal. I reckon that she is the mother of Alyx.
that game was really fun but too short and too easy, Portal should have more lvls and different environments and better graphics.
Thats not necessary, it's a tie-in to the HL universe. You're on your way to Borealis at the end of Episode 2....retards.
i would be all about a sequel. i know GlaDOS can be put back together again :D G-man could do it ;)
Yes, bring on more Portal.
Yeah put Portal 1 and 2 (if they make it) by itself and put it on the psn or xbl w/e you have.
i couldn't see what they'd do with portal 2. if you want more of the story, i can understand that, but portal 2 would just be more levels.
No. I dont want a sequel. It would probably take Valve 2 years.
I want Portal to be mod friendly with heaps of user created maps coming out like we're seeing with UT3. All the building blocks are in place, they dont need to improve graphics or anything.
They just need more levels. This would be a great mod friendly game for those looking to make brain teasing levels, not just shooting arenas.
There are maps coming out for Portal if you got the PC version, check websites like FPSBanana.
i do have the PC version. thx for the info zone.
That doesn't have slowdown and has automatic quicksaves in the background.
On the other hand, I wish I could use that Portal device in a multiplayer deathmatch setting.
I really enjoyed portal. I thought it was a fantastic game that actually made you stop and think a good number of times.
When you start with a "How the hell do I do this?" and end in a "Oh man, I get it now" and then complete the level .... it is a good feeling.
BRING ON #2
...I'd rather the developers be allowed to stay creative. If they can come up with Portal I can imagine that they've got a lot of good ideas rumbling around up in their brains. :)
i'd defenitley want another Portal, although some DLC woulnt be bad either
I want more cake!!!!
