I'm generally against DLC, but... SOLD! I feel like BF3 was worth the bucks out of the box, and this truly adds more to the game. Not just some cash in that should have been in the box. I'll take it :)
CQB is all well and good until you realise its Frostbite 3 and the game is plagued with latency issues i.e getting first shot .....multiple hit detections, you die in one bullet.
Why are you getting disagrees? What you say about the hit detection is COMPLETELY TRUE. From what I've witnessed on PC, hit detection seems to always favor the person with higher ping. It's such BS. Gotta love that client-side hit detection, lol. I never thought, after the Alpha, that I would get Call of Dutied in BF, i.e. killed around corners, one-shot, killed while going prone.
Under gameplay settings adjust latency smoothing. By default the game smooths out your connection to match other players, lowering this setting will give you an edge if you have a good connection, however lowering it too much will create the "lag teleporting"

Damn, when it comes to multiplayer, DICE is ahead of our times. I guarantee this is how COD will look next gen and it still won't compete with BF3. I'm definitely glad I bought this game day one and this DLC will be in my download queue on day one.
I'm so glad DICE is going hard with the post-game support for Battlefield 3. So satisfied am I with the game, I'm not even sure I want the new Medal of Honor.
With BF3 being supported so faithfully, Warfighter seems kind of redundant. XD
IDK, it looks cool, but im skeptical of complete domination by shotguns. And as a LMG player i genuinely fear i will be slaughtered. coming from someone who goes 3:1 all the time.
Where did all these people come that approve of this DLC now? When the first map was shown people had a heart attack and I'm sure the so called "Battlefield Vets" sent DICE hate mail pouring their hearts out lol
still skeptical about these maps.. I can still imagine they'll be choke points like in metro were people will just sit there and shoot one another till they finally realize that there is more than one way to navigate the map.
Ive watched it again and I must say the music is awesome! You gotta hand it to Dice , they know how to make trailer.
One thing that concerns me is there is little to no suppression in this video. Also, I can see people using a boat load of Shotguns, claymores, grenade launchers, and RPG's,
So they are FINALLY bringing back the AUG A3, one of my favourite assault rifles ever in the Battlefield series (I used to like the F2000 before everyone started raping it to death.) But as Crystallis mentioned, the trailer is only hiding the obvious fact that this will be a shotgun, claymore and RPG fest especially since they are bringing back the SPAS 12 as well.
