Geek Revolt: Tribes Ascend Review

GR's Bryan Allbright writes:

Many people who think of Tribes generally think of their childhood, playing this first person shooter with a bunch of friends on a computer running a 56k Modem (oh yea, Dial-up). The original Tribes came out back in 1998 under the name Starsiege: Tribes. Tribes is known for its strong multiplayer (as it had no single player) that kept players on their toes, moving at extremely fast speeds and having to lead their targets in order to hit them. This came to gather a very strong player base that still survives even today, creating mods, hosting servers, and unfortunately bashing the newer games because they aren’t considered true Tribes games. (PC, Tribes Ascend) 8/10
