IGN writes: "Franchise creator Masahiro Sakurai gives us his early thoughts as he returns to Nintendo's blockbuster series."
I just want better online support from the team. Smash Bros has always been 10/10 in what it provides. I would like to see them keep on it. DLC is a hated acronym but we would all love to see DLC packs keeping SSBwiiU fresh. Why not add $5 packs that are like a Zelda pack with 3 stages, 3 costumes, maybe 10 challenges related to Zelda games and more? There are usually about 3 or so stages for each game series, so it would be cool to see other things added in the themes. I am really excited for this game and I am actually pretty excited to just see what the Wii U is. Also, on a side note, I hope Sony All Stars is a Smash-clone and not just a standard fighter. I think Sony icons on Smash foundation is epic win win. Ans on fighters: Why hasn't Square made Dissidia into an HD console game?
Now that you mention it, I think Super Smash Bros. with DLC would be pretty damn great. I'm not too fond of DLC but if they do it right I'd probably get back my 3DS
Nintendo will probably give free DLC for it after seeing how much people hate paid DLC for fighting games.
Maybe they're taking some time on it because of that rumored sony game?
Nah, I don't think they very much care about that. Smash Bros. is pretty huge and stands out from other competitive fighting games because of just how ridiculous and unique it is. Besides, said Sony game hasn't even been formally announced. I doubt Nintendo (let alone Sakurai) would give it that much attention.
As much as I am excited for the SONY version of Smash Bros, I don't think there is anything Nintendo should worry about.
as long as we can still do classic fights, do what you wish
I'm super excited for this, sucks we have to wait so long.
Well I'm speaking for myself but please don't change what I have grown to love. I wouldn't mind more characters, stages, items, tweaks to the gameplay and HD graphics. This is a risky one my friends. I hope they can pull it off with whatever new they're doing.
