What Does Dragon Age 3 Need?

It's been a while since we've heard any news concerning Dragon Age. With two full games, an expansion, and plenty of DLC, this is a series that's grounded fairly well on its own so far. But with a third title in the works, what does it, and the series, need to be at the forefront of gamers' minds?

A complete overhaul!

Update the graphics (sure not The Witcher 2 level but dam it, get closer)!

Update the gameplay (maybe take a long look at Skyrim and The Witcher 2 and just copy everything you see)! It's only a win win situation right there!

Update the Dev team (if anyone has worked on Mass Effect then they are no longer allowed to work on Dragon Age) the series has been called "Mass Dragon Age Effect" for a NOT SO GOOD reason!

Take your time! (pumping out a Dragon Age 3 quicker than a pregnant lady pushing out her 9th kid is not good)! Actually just save Dragon Age 3 for next Gen therefore you can take the series to a whole new level and direction!

More importance on the RPG aspect (sure the convo tree thing is great along with good voice acting but I want my characters abilities to really matter and not just my choices in a dialogue tree)!

Open World ( RPG's should never be linear and they should ALWAYS encourage exploration)

I would second "More importance on the RPG aspect" heartily.

The problem with DA2 was that they took the R out of RPG. The one thing that made DA:O so amazing was the ROLE playing part.

A sincere hardcore old-school RPG that has multiple areas to explore. PERIOD. Ultimately it doesn't rely on anything else. The graphics could look only slightly better than Origins and the REAL Bioware fans would eat it up. By REAL Bioware, I mean non influence by EA in their game. RPG's don't have to be filled to the brim with action in order to recieve critical acclaim. In fact, most of the greatest RPG's by GAMERS' standards had some pretty slow sections of the game.

100% agree, bring back the old school hardcore rpg feel/gameplay....forget about the casual market/keep EA away from the creative side of things..

A nice start would be a story that I give a shit about finishing.

One minor thing I missed from Dragon Age 1, when your characters had special effects on them (think auras), it should be present in cutscenes/character interactions.

I thought it was pretty cool... not sure about the rest of you.
