Lot of people are gamers but so many of them are afraid to tell others that they are gamers, like to keep it as a secret due to fear of being called a nerd by the society.

I think that is changing more and more now. As more games are being released each year and more gamers are gaming from younger generations to older.

That is because people who played games as kids are all grown up but didn't loose their hobby. Now adults game not just kids and that is why it's more accepted. But talk to most 40+ year olds and they will ridicule you for being a gamer. 20's and 30's people won't.

Most models are in their 20's so as kids they played games like most children their age.

I think in the past 5 years gaming has become more acceptted. It feels totally different than 20 yrs ago when if you played games you were labeled a nerd or geek.
