With Crysis 2, the series developed a dual personality. It veered from an open-world jungle playground to a tunnel of skyscrapers. The sandbox had shrunk from the whole world to a long chain of arenas. Could Crysis 3 be a satisfying compromise of spectacle and freedom?
I think it could be that the character that you play in the games has no sense of personality at all an you just feel like a blank faceless accessory to the games larger plot even though you are the instigator of most of the plot.
Its hard to grasp but it has the ability to have incredibly inventive gameplay and coupled with a character you can indentify with it would be one of the top FPS games.
Nail on head. I guess they're aiming for a Master Chief style blank tablet.
***SPOILERS***
"They Call me Prophet"
which was exciting as the character you played as gained an indentity of sorts, we will wait and see.
Ugh you know what, i just want crysis back, i want the physics sandbox that locked me into the series. not the shooter that has nothing more to offer once you run out of bullets.
