BloodForge (XBLA) Review - Gamerplex

Gamerplex - Next, Microsoft’s four week bonanza where four triple-A Xbox Live Arcade games hit the marketplace, reaches its second stop this Wednesday. After we have been seriously impressed by Trials Evolution last week, which also had the highest amount of copies sold for an XBLA game on day one, it’s time for Bloodforge. This game, developed by Climax and published by Microsoft Studios, is by far the most serious and violent game out of the Arcade Next showing, as it’s an ultra-violent third person action game with blood, mutilations, and tons of spectacular and violent action from the beginning to the end. But let’s find out whether it’s worth to be part of this Microsoft initiative, and of course, if it deserves your money. (Bloodforge, Xbox 360) 8.3/10
