Don’t have enough PSN friends that share your love of certain games? Don’t worry, a Sony patent might be able to help you make a new BFF. - PSLS
Maybe it's a sort of "hey, you like this, maybe you'll like this person 'cuz they do too," or maybe it'll be way too intrusive and almost insulting. Or maybe it won't actually come to pass. *shrug*
It's no more intrusive than Facebook's "people you may know" feature. This is more about games and the way people you encounter play them(possibly?). http://playstationlifestyle...
Yeah, but can it pick your friends nose?
Well I accidentally broke my friend's nose with a Move, so that's close enough.
Too late, I've already patented this.
I've patented the act of pattenting. So every time you patent something you owe me royalties.
I trademarked that joke
I patented the trademark
The rock HAS COME BACK! ...
A online frienship algorithm quite informative.
Makes some sense. It wouldn't be that difficult- or intrusive- to gather about how much time you spend playing certain games, calculate genres and what percentage of time you spend in each, and then offer suggestions based on other people who have similar results. Regional matching would also narrow things down; it would be like Near for your PS3, kinda sorta.
sounds like facebook, but a psn kinda facebook :O
Am i the only one who dosent add or accepts a friend unless i know them in real life & can talk to them outside of gaming?
