Top 10 in Sales - First Person Shooters

VgChartz: Welcome to the new ‘Top 10’ weekly feature. Each week we will be taking a look at the top 10 selling games in a particular genre, platform, most recent month, even sprinkling in the top 10 selling games from a past year. All sales specified will be worldwide, unless stated otherwise. If there is a particular top 10 you want to see leave a comment and it may be featured in a future top 10.

For the first week we will be taking a look at the top 10 bestselling first person shooters. All of the platforms for a specific game have been combined. (Battlefield 3, Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Halo 3, Halo: Reach, PC, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360)

what you see is people buying COD MW3 and wanting to go back to CODBLOPS because it was a better experience and MW 1 and MW2 to see if Infinity Ward REALLY did recycle buildings..

and then just saying Eff this..ill try Battlefield 3..

then there's the excitement about Halo 4 from the 360'er's

and..i honestly have no idea why MOH is on the list..

Wow. That list shows that mindless = popular, with the exception of BF3. I guess I'm not surprised, but it still makes me sad for gaming in general.
