Wjy are they saying they want to see what they can do on the wii u? When their current game ghost recon or at least the beta shows their not trying to push any console limits or use its full graphical capacity. The beta graphics are baf and look like last gen.

Why is it always assumed, that when they talk about capabilities, it's the graphics?

The question was obviously directed at the controller.
Their E3 summit was done on early dev kits.

All I'm saying is that they still have time to work on it.

Although the fact they already showed some cool features at e3, it's rather strange that he is implying they haven't done anything yet.

It's about the Wii Upad controller.

Its irrelevant whether its in terms of graphics or controller. If they cant get the graphics up to par with this gen what do you expect from the controller? Oh let me guess a gimmicky use for inventory. Lol some of you ppl let anything fascinate you or awe you. They can keep the gimmicks. I rather have the game looking right and fix some of the bulky feeling controls (running feels awful) before you do some gimmicky bs with the controller.

I would think that keeping graphics "up to par" on the WiiU would be the easy task. On the other hand, working with a new control interface is going to be challenging.

You said it yourself, they're going to have to avoid that "gimmicky feel" and win over the loyalist that are already comfortable with the standard controls.

Regardless, saying that the controller and graphics are irrelevant doesn't leave us with much of a game does it? That certainly doesn't sound very "neutral" to me.

Whoa talk about missing a point completely wow. I never said that graphics and control werent relevant to a game (talk about bending statements). I said it wasnt relevant to my point. Point being if their are glaring flaws in the ps3 and xbox versions what makes you think theyll be bringing anything new to the table for the wii u. Albeit this is a beta but frm my experience the final versions graphocally dont differ much nor does the gameplay. They cant utilize yhe full capacity to make an all around solid game on all fronts (yes including graphically) wth do you think their going to do with the wii u.
Hey we are all entitled to our opinions so it is what it is. Im just making my point.

you :
"Wjy are they saying they want to see what they can do on the wii u? "

And I pointed out he was talking about the controller. Get it?

"Oh let me guess a gimmicky use for inventory."

You obviously haven't looked at the ideas they were pushing back at E3.

CaptainN4377d ago

Well, they had over a year to figure stuff out from what they showed at E3 last year. If they are still thinking and not implementing yet, then there is a huge problem. They should be almost done with the Wii-U version knowing the system will be on display in June and out by the holidays. Get to work Ubisoft !

Wish there was a Battlefield/COD crossover!

EA and Activision have to forgive each other, and have an orgy. Then turn into EA-Activate! The Game will be called Battlefield: A Call For Duty.

Ashunderfire863858d ago

Ok so when is this coming out for the Wii U? You the Wii U need some kind of free to play. PS3, 360, PS4, and X1 are all having free to play games. Man Nintendo need to step up their game.

Errefus3858d ago

Hope the Wii U version is still being considered.
