Yellow?! You must have not played red...

Yellow was Red in a yellow box.

Yellow was red in a box with an altered story. It was stupid everyone says that for Pikachu, but Pikachu is one of the first Pokemon I get in Red anyway if you know what you're doing.

Yelow better than Red, that'll be the day. LOL.

There were so many superior handheld's out soon after the original Game Boy. The Sega Game Gear and the Atari Lynxx were both color and had some great games, but Nintendo as always, just seems to have handheld's on lock.

I think part of the problem was the cost of those other handheld's and the battery issues. It used to take a boat load of batteries for both of those, while the Game Boy ran off two AA's for like 8 or 12 hours.

Some things never change.

Yeah, man I wish they would remake that game for the 3DS.

I loved the gameboy and pokemon was the game everyone had to have on it it took up many hours of my childhood.

I never really could get into it like most of my friends. Everything being green hurt my eyes. Your right it did consume most of the childhood, the sega 32bit was what cause me to never want to play outside.
