Crysis 3 a “spiritual successor” to the original Crysis, says Crytek boss

It seems that even Crytek weren’t the biggest fans of Crysis 2 and thought that something didn’t felt right for a gameplay formula that worked well with organic, open-world environments. From the words of Crytek boss Cevat Yerli, Crysis 3 will have more in common with 2007’s debut title than of last year’s New York-set, Crysis 2.

The story is too old to be commented.

I liked Crysis 2's single player but had a problem getting into Multiplayer due to trying to aim for people who would jump around and people cloaking. I hope that they focus more on both if Multiplayer will be returning.

The first Crysis is one of my favourite FPS games... the second not so much so this is good news to me.

I guess this New York Setting could be treated as a reboot to what Crysis 2 should of been. Crysis 3 all the way!!!!

What? Not a corridor shooter? Albiet rather high corridors.

I dont buy it. Just soundds like something people would 'want' to hear.
