Dragon's Dogma looks all set to challenge the big boys in the action role playing genre as frankly it's a well crafted game... and then there are pawns!
Dragon's Dogma definitely seems to take inspiration from Dark Souls, but that actually makes me a little skeptical of it. The formula of Dark Souls is so incredibly easy to get wrong. It must be finely balanced to near-perfection to work, and I'm not sure I've seen anything from Capcom since the PS2 era that makes me think they can do that.
The game definitely looks fantastic, courtesy of MT Framework . We'll have to wait 'til the demo to get an idea on how well it plays.
I'm curious to see exactly how good the game plays...I'm with Wraith I want a demo before I decide to sink massive amounts of time into another RPG....between Skyrim, Reckoning, and the Witcher 2 I still have plenty to do.
well lucky for you a demo drops next week
The more rpgs the better!
no its not, its more similar to monster hunter than any of those games. And honestly its just about the only action adventure game this year I dont care about Yes I said it just as he did "A very interesting action adventure game" so really its nothing like rpgs
i really dont think it is, hope im wrong though!
DD looks so generic and old,idk...
Dark souls beats them all :)
Really hyped for this game.. They finally have classes that sound different and the action looks really good Waiting in baited breath
