Is it smart when they are praying on the gullible? The ones who were going to run headlong into the store and buy the game. See Call of Duty Elite slapped against their face as they booted up the multiplayer and proceeded to buy knowing they'd get a discount on the DLC to come later? Not to mention various other things but of course DLC could have been the main draw. On one hand I guess it was smart but on the other...it is simply watching the track record of previous games to know how it's going to turn out. Call of Duty Elite well perhaps could have been pre-meditated but for the most part I dunno..

Devious might be a more appropriate term.

Anything is smarter than CoD haters.

Yes, ANYTHING is smarter than people who have legitimate reasons for disliking a franchise that releases yearly but changes less than equally yearly sports games.

cod elite is a rip off. all those stats you can look at are totally FREE! in black ops. its the reason i refuse to buy it. and i dont think elite is doing that great in sales either, cod maps were usually number 1 in sales in the psn store but elite is not even in the top 10, probably the reason bowling got the sack.

and if bought it on the ps3, well then you should just throw yourself off a bridge.
