Behind the MSO's Video Games Unplugged Symphony

This was to be a celebration of the "dramatic" music of video game culture, as Andrew Pogson the Assistant Artistic Administrator of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra describes it to Novede.com.

In an interview with Novede.com the nights presenters, Kris Straub, Scott Kurtz and Wil Wheaton described what it was like to be a part of this event.

"My first thought was 'That can't possibly be real! There's no way this is really happening.'"
"Orchestral symphonic music, is a bigger part of popular culture than many people steeped in popular culture, actually realise", said Wil Wheaton.

"When I was approached about coming here to do this show, my first thought was 'That can't possibly be real! There's no way this is really happening.' I've always wanted to come to Australia.

The story is too old to be commented.
