Transformers: Fall of Cybertron: 'We're aiming for a Batman: Arkham Asylum-like reception'

Transformers: War for Cybertron was something of an unexpected triumph for developer High Moon in 2010.

Then lat year's movie tie-in Dark of the Moon came out, and it disappointed. Undeterred, the former Bourne Conspiracy and Darkwatch developer decided to return to the scene of their original triumph and announced a direct sequel to War for Cybertron.

CVG recently got the chance to check out a hands-off demo of Fall of Cybertron at an Activision event in New York, as well as catch up with game Director Matt Tieger. Here's what he had to say

Ha, I welcome to game with open arms. War for Cybertron was a very solid shooter, though I think it needed something extra to feel like more than just a very basic TPS game. Still, I'm looking forward to it.

I can't imagine how many games they'll try to make before coming across the opening of the Transformers TV show, though.
