Sony shows off a bit more of one of the PS3's most anticipated titles for 2008.
Wow this part is awesome: "The big, addictive hook to them is that prospective game design visionaries will be able to reward players who make it through their levels with unique items." I'm SO making all kinds of cool crap for my levels. I hope we get to design Sackboy items from scratch, hell what if we can import our own textures?
you probably could using the Play Station Eye.
I can't wait for the genius artists and visionaries to get their hands on the level creator!
this game will ROCK!!
I saw the Gametrailer video of the Tijuana level. There was a Pinata where they had to swing and open. I'm going to do something cool with that. Other than the "Fluffs" i wonder what other stuff they'll add to be able to collect! the fire thing is cool! I'm so going to make a vertical platformer where two people race to the top. almost like an American Gladiator type of arena ;3 Or just a complex maze that has no real end to it ;3
We are quite proud of what our friends at Media Molecule are doing with Little Big Planet. We cannot wait to get this game into the hands of PS3 fans, as well as ex-Wii and ex-360 owners. Get ready to explore, create and share with LBP, only for the Sony Playstation Super Computer. Cheers to a great 2008! (and B3yond) Jack Tretton
The BABOONS are so envious of this game....AAHAHAHhAHAHhAHHAHA
Even though I recognize that this game is brilliant.. I don't see myself hooked with it like most people here say they will. I just find it pure art and pure innovation, but I try to visualize myself playing through the levels and making some creative levels and stuff etc etc... and I don't get exited. Maybe it's because I'm judging the game by the fact that I don't have much time in my hands to really enjoy the game as it should be enjoyed. well we'll see in the future. I'm actually much more exited about GTA4, MGS4, GT5 etc. LBP has never strike me as: wow I need to play this game right now. However I can understand people getting exited over it because overall it's looking to be a hit and it's physics, innovation and freedom are enough to get anybody exited. Maybe this game is just not for me. can someone relate?? hehe :)
is that really Jack Tretton up their lol if it is GOOD JOB WITH THAT LAST PS3 UPDATE (divx and that world thing)
"...we were treated to a look at a fresh moon". That just made me laugh, if you know the other meaning of 'moon'
ok after reading that, my anticipation for this game has again rocketed. It waned for a bit because its been around for a long time but once again its shot back to the top of my list. This is the game i want most
