'Halo 4' will indeed feature the voices of Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter

XMNR: Halo 4 made a big appearance on Conan O'Brien's late night show on Tuesday night and both Conan and sidekick Andy Richter got to go into the recording studio to do some voiceover work for the Xbox 360 game. However, it was hard to tell if the voice work was just a joke or if they would actually be in the game so we contacted Microsoft PR to get the scoop.

I could see Conan playing the role of another Marine, etc... but Andy? Andy is straight up grunt voice. As soon as he started doing his voices in the comedy bit I immediately had a vision of a convenant grunt.

Probably just some background guys or something, its cool when fans of the games make it into the games they love though.

I remember when I heard the cast from Firefly were going to be in Halo ODST, I was so stoked. It turned out amazing and it was cool having those guys in that type of role.

haha that's great. Saw them doing the voices on Conan last night..wish we coulda seen actual footage though. I haven't played a Halo game since Halo 3 and am curious to see how the sequel turns out. if it's good enough well maybe I'll buy a 360 again...MAYBE....

So in a way, in marketing terms, they got Conan to do a voice so they could get Halo 4 featured on his show and maybe it even worked out as free advertising...........pretty smart MS.....pretty smart

Come on Sony get Alan Carr featured in God of War 4 so it can featured on Alan Carrs Chatty Man ;)

i think Halo would've been fine without a 5 minute spot on Conan's show lol..

if anything did anything...it's that Halo brought more viewers to Conan...

which is always a good thing..

although it is a good push into their target demo...Conan is popular with the 15 to 30 year olds..(i know he goes older...but that's his target demographic)

You never really know what MS could have planned nearer Halo 4s release, they'll probably ask him to do a longer feature on Halo 4

Hey it might not make much of a difference but still....free advertising is always good. I mean MS are probably going to spend a crap load of money on the advertising much like they did with Halo 3 even though it won't make much of a diference they'll still do it.......all that wasted money for a product people will buy regardless :|
