IGN - Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention Review

Daemon Hatfield writes: While Disgaea games are always well-reviewed, part three received the coolest welcome in the series when it arrived on the PlayStation 3 in 2008. Its strategy was just as bafflingly deep, its oddball demon characters just as quirky, and its randomly generated item worlds just as bottomless. But that familiarity was perhaps its problem -- the 2008 PS3 game felt like the 2003 PS2 original. Ahh, disgaea. Had it with my PSP. So many fun hours spent on power leveling in order to beat a secret prinny boss.

Been playing this game since I got home... The voice overs for the tutorial "bosses" are hilarious. I'm debating on playing it in Japanese or English..

Lol I usually hate dubbed games, but the work here is pretty well done. Also, I think the main character's voice for the dub is the same as Ed's from FMA. Funny how this has dual language yet FFXIII an WKC didn't. There should be no excuse.
