GDiNews: "I made a quick video showcasing the Character Creation option of TERA, The game is going into open beta this weekend, and is allowing people who have preordered to create their characters, and reserve their names before Friday." (En Masse, PC, TERA)

I want to try this game out, is it any good or just graphics and dull gameplay?

I love it. It's the only MMO in years I've actually felt like pre-ordering. The combat is skill based, as it's an action MMO, so you have more control over the combat. And the irony of the "child-like" class. Is they are the oldest characters in the game, they are all hundreds of years old. These are fully grown, their children, are even smaller than they are.
