brodychet4390d ago

Couldn't even pronounce Saiyan correctly. God this game will fail.

Lucretia4390d ago

Kinect itself is a joke obviously.

I can't believe how bad this is.....wait its connect, yes i can.

SOooooooooooooooooooooo bad.

well the kids will love this

MrMister4390d ago (Edited 4390d ago )

I thought this was absolutely stupid too, but if I was a 10 year old kid (or younger), I would love this! In fact, I was watching japanese bootleg vids of DBZ when I was little (before it came to America) and at the time I was horrible at video games. Give a little 10 year old a DBZ game where they can act out the gestures (stuff they probably do all day anyway lol) while seeing feedback of it on the TV screen (combined with the cel shaded graphics which keep it looking like the cartoon), and I'm telling you--your younger self would love it too. I wish I had a son so that I could get it for him. For little kids, it's definitely a perfect fit to use motion controls and voice command.

I blame spike they could of made this work out but they didnt the3y just rehashed the same stuff from ultimate tenkaichi and added kinect controls like literally the have the same fighting scenes. Its not the peripheral that screws everything up,it's the producer that makes the game what it is in the end.

Ha Ha the whole trailer looked horrible...but I can't help but want to play it.

Rage_S904390d ago (Edited 4390d ago )

This is truly a revolution in gaming, this is the reason kinect has gone on to sell 15 milion + units. New and revolutionary experiences like this should be truly incredible for anyone wiling to give these games a chance.

Who hasn't pretended they were goku as a kid? Now these dreams can come true, thanks to the help of Microsoft®.

Just imagine how happy this kid will be.

TenSteps4390d ago

And to imagine I thought that Kinect has reach the pinnacle of it's superior ability to draw you in to a game with Michael Phelps: Push the Limit here comes a contender to the crown of Kinect's ever stellar game line-up. This kind of immersion can only be accomplished through Kinect, the boundaries between fiction and reality will forever be blurred.

Dragon Ball Z for Kinect Review | GameDynamo

GameDynamo - "Similar to Ubisoft's PowerUp Heroes, all actions in Dragon Ball Z for Kinect are gesture-based and displayed on the right side of the screen. Players are able to punch at the air to start a martial art combo, shoot Ki-blasts, guard or dodge attacks through this system, depending on if the battle is in the air or on the ground. "

Game Guys review - Dragon Ball Z for Kinect

In the 1990's on through the early 2000's, 'Dragon Ball Z' was easily one of the more popular anime titles on television. It's so-bad-its-good dialogue and voice acting was trumped only by its over-the-top fantasy martial arts and powerful super moves. Now, in the year 2012, fans have their chance of not only controlling the show's characters in a fighting game, but more-or-less being those characters in the Xbox 360 title DragonBall Z for Kinect.

The voice acting was really good, at least the dub was... Especially for its time. C'mon though, the dialogue wasn't that bad, the only real problems DBZ had was the crazy long pauses between talking and fighting, as well as how out of proportion the powers became.
