Preview: Dragon's Dogma - The Sleeper Hit of 2012?

"You'd think there'd be more excitement for Dragon's Dogma. Headed by staff responsible for Devil May Cry and Resident Evil, and with interest in RPGs at an all-time high thanks to Skyrim, the upcoming action RPG has generated very little heat in the past year. Which is weird, as we've played it and it's pretty excellent."

STUPIDLY pumped for this one. This and Guild Wars 2 are my most anticipated games for this year.

well if crapcom knew how to treat the consumers of their products, you would probably hear more people talking about this game. though unfortunately we have typical crapcom announcing day 1 DLC which is probably on disc. so you tell me why "the upcoming action RPG has generated very little heat in the past year."

The only DLC Capcom's announced so far is retailer-specific pre-order incentives, isn't it? Haven't seen anything else covered.
