GamingUnion: "As much as I enjoyed Ezio's renaissance-inspired antics, after more extensions to his story than anyone ever expected or asked for, the announcement of the American Revolution as the new setting for Assassin's Creed III was welcome, to say the least."

Industrial Revolution FTW!

The Han Dynasty would be pretty cool - there are just so many possibilities.

Assassin's Creed: The Boxer Rebellion!

I think one set in feudal japan would be pretty cool. I'm sure they could work it into the story somehow.

But I just like katanas, so that's why.

I think the Bakumatsu period (end of the feudal era) would be interesting since it's a pivotal moment in the history of Japan (like many other countries had their own during that period of industrial revolution). Countless political turmoils and assassinations, and it's set after the era visited until now so it fits. History is much more thrilling and interesting than hollywood : The Last Samurai is boring compared to what really happened, it was more than a combat of "tradition vs modernity".

Assassins of the Caribbeans anyone? Big water masses, first colonies. Journey's for holy objects?

TekoIie2135d ago

All i can think with of that is it would be interesting to see an Assassin make deals with pirates. Seems like the 2 would have the same enemy but with different goals.

Hell the assassins could be pirates given a bad image by the templars :3

OOooh somebody disagrees with pirates!

Indus Valley Civilisation (3300BC)

An assasin in the bronze age of civilisations

Only drawback would be using primitive methods but very raw combat. Maybe a lil disturbing :D
