Blades of Time Review | Esperino

Those who remember Gaijin Entertainment’s poorly received effort, X-Blades will likely look back with a critical eye at its mundane hack-and-slash antics. With a female lead designed to appeal to fans of anime and sporting little more than skimpy underwear, it soon became clear that while the presentation was stylish, the gameplay just wasn’t solid enough to attract the bigger masses. Those who found something to love in X-Blades will be in for a treat however, as Ayumi returns to try and make good on these transgressions in Blades of Time. The adventure has arrived at a budget price and to very little fanfare, but was Konami wise to keep quiet with this one? (Blades of Time, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 7.0/10

Meh , i hope this new titles gets as badly received . It basically added a shallow new coating to an already mediocre game on top of PoP's time rewinding mechanics .

And i can already feel the wheels behind that one . They basically gave up on the immensely generic anime feel of the first game , hoping it would make it less niche , and attract more . And maybe rightfully so , but the rest of the game , and its gameplay is still a dreadful mess

Do not worry. The game hasn't caught on with anybody just like NeverDead.
