Once you start nearing the big three-oh, gaming starts to feel less satisfying than it once did.
So do something else then and don't bore us with crap articles like this.
Oh shut up. This article was very funny to someone who can see truths in it. Maybe if it doesn't relate to you; don't comment.
I read it because I'm in my 30s. Still think it's garbage. The only valid point is having less time to play games. The rest is crap. Out of curiosity, what was funny about it?
well im 16 everyone and gaming just started for me,
alot of things are less exciting when you get older, and some things are alot more exciting as well.
I know people who have acted childish all their lives, they're pathetic.... *puts pacifier in mouth*
Ha! Wait till your 50, you think your old now! Ah hahaha ah hahaha..OOPS! I think I just pooped a little. Time to change the Depends.
@ cheetorb You are only old if you feel old, it's all in the mind. I knew a guy who died of old age at 14!!!. He went to bed one night at 11pm and he just died, it was scary. What was even more scary was the fact that he, somehow, came back to life the next morning at 6am. I couldnt believe it, i still cant.
I agree older u get the less fun gaming is. my ps3 racking up dust im more into social life now, dating, outdoor activities ,church etc......
social life - yes dating - yes outdoor activities - yes Church - sorry i don't believe in fairytales.......
Some people need fairy tales to feel complete. Its something in the human mind, people from every region have come up with a unique religion.
*Someone mentions church *Atheist feels entitled to down play him U MAD BRO? You obviously care about God sense you feel so entitled to complain about it every time someone mentions it. Some one is insecure and in denial :) *Waits for angry response, or smart ass response denying his insecurity
@Led Zeppelin its pretty obvious i was joking but then again people just are just too serious sometimes LOL. I'm not atheist i'm actually catholic. i'm just not the type of person to take religion seriously anyway, so i have no problem joking around about religion period. your the one obviously insecure not me. im perfectly content with myself are you? XD
"Its something in the human mind, people from every region have come up with a unique religion." Something man made and full of lies.
Yeah, the church of Kojima has been keeping me from going outside lately too.
Another thing to consider is the sheer amount of great games...i mean look at oct-nov-dec '11 just the games that came out in those months...AAA games never dropped in such rapid succession as they do now...i am a 30yo full time jobbing husband and father of 2...i relate to this article
Omg... I can relate to most of what this article said.. What does that mean!?
I'm 31 and I still game almost every day unless I am too busy to fit it in. I still wait for midnight launches and am just as eager as a 20yo to buy the latest hit.
Same here. I'm 30 and I'm still as active gaming as i ever was.
Yeah, I'll be 30 next month, and I still like keeping up with games news, but I really don't have time to play all those titles. I'll start a new game, get busy with other stuff, and then forget what was even happening with the story or what I'm supposed to be doing. That's okay. I played more games as a kid and teen, but a lot of it was probably crap. Now I can skip the garbage and concentrate on the best stuff.
Don't let people tell you what is fun at any age. I'm 32, married and I will die playing games. People have this concept that you should outgrow games which is wrong...
Yep, that was pretty much my point too.
I'm 32 and I'm just enjoying video games for what they're worth.
tell me about it. You don't even have to be 30 to feel that way too. It started in my early 20s. It's like, what the hell happened? Where are my games? I really loved that bit about Bejewelled.
While I don't play as much due to responsibilities of being an adult, (sometimes) I find I appreciate gaming much more when I do.
Yeah, it really did come close to home for me in some ways; I'm 36 and many times I don't have a lot of time and a have a decent pile of games that I have yet to beat. Interesting enough though, I'm neither getting fonder nor being repulsed by Werther's Originals.
playa' always a playa'
great story.. I'm 34 and I can relate to some alot of this stuff...
