With the servers closing by the end of May, Atlus PR wants you to enjoy the game your way.
an end of an era and a sad day for gaming. its a shame but understandble why the servers go down. in my limited knowledge of servers i think it was a shame not to include dedicated servers to dark souls as i think it would eliminate loads of laggy fights ive encountered. anyways thanks for the fun times atlus good luck with whatever else you embark on
It will truly be missed =[ As much as I love the open world feel of Dark Souls, Demon Souls will always have the boss battles that I love. Ones where you have to think and be strategic about the fight, whereas Dark Souls it was more of a hit then dodge then repeat till it was over.
I guess the Penetrator and I will have our final battle, one on one with Black Soul Tendency. He was my favourite boss this generation and it will only be fitting to cross blades with at his strongest. Heaven help me but this game deserves an honorable death.
I'll never understand why they don't allow players to host their own servers.
This is one of my biggest h8s for consoles , as well as not being able to use any input device I want. Really like Demons Souls though and will still play it with or without the On-line Capabilities. Ironic that trolls will claim PC is dying yet it is the only place it would live for much longer , hope Sony provide some sort of service to allow players to host their own servers as you suggest.
If one game this gen felt magical to me, it was Demon's Souls. The game just feels alive and it's more than just a game to me.
i couldnt get into whole demons souls hardcoreness it brought but i did like the unique multiplayer. seeing warnings from other players, watching players die with some being hilarious to watch and getting a surprise PvP. honestly, gonna miss that.
Sorry accidentally disagreed.
no prob dude
Gonna play the crap out of this til may 31.
