PAXEast 2012: TERA is a True Action MMO, and it Looks Amazing | TheGameEffect


As I sat down to partake in a hands-on TERA demo guided by Associate Producer Stefan Ramirez, I felt both a sense of trepidation and excitement. I was about to embark on one of very few personal MMO experiences, and as a traditional gamer who has become too old and simple-minded for the oft complex and nuanced menus of an MMO, I wasn't sure how I would react to En Masse Entertainment's latest online opus. Five minutes, and thousands of experience points later, I found myself comfortably dominating with a mouse and keyboard (something I typically reserve for shooters), and ultimately discovering that TERA is likely to be the first MMO I buy.
