GameSpot is hosting five new screenshots and two concept images of The Agency.
As much as I like screens, I prefer a video ;o Make it happen?
ahahhaa as i said ps3 cant handle complex coding this game plays and looks like a pile of pooo compare it to huxley and begin laughing at this crap called the agency
Dude I've PLAYED Huxley, I think you might want to take that back and choose your battles kid.
"this game plays and looks like a pile of pooo" So, you have played this game I assume? Are you at the CES? Anything? If not then I suggest you reserve judgment until the game actually comes out. Otherwise, your spewing more BS as usual.
well agency may not be one of the top ps3 titles out there but i am pretty sure it will earn its side along the other ps3 games out there. Its unique art style intrigues. You really have to play it though to make your opinion mesh but as of now inst one of the games am looking forward to in 08 and coincidentally neither is huxley
I love the concept dude! If you want more on the game, check out what a fan made on GT: http://forums.gametrailers....
But its natural since its MMO
But it still has a long time in the oven so I will hold judgement until closer to launch. Would love to see some gameplay video of this.
Guys, if you want to watch a video of teh Agency, watch this. I attached this to an earlier article on an interview with the developers, but that article seems to have been hidden among the pile of repititive news lately. Back on topic, yeah the graphics seem sub-par but I can't seem to shake the feeling that the devs are going for a TF2 (team fortress 2) feel. Anyone agree with me?
Gameplay looks like it "could" be fun, but needs A LOT of work, I mean A LOT. This has to be a 2009 release b/c it's very plain at this point.
The gameplay looks pretty fun. I heard them talking about its pve elements in that video of it awhile back. Hope its pve doesnt gimp its pvp and its free2play vs subscription.
Ok...someone wants to pay2play?
I'm not the one who disagreed with you but history shows the subscription based mmo's are superior to the free ones, so if that trend continues then yes I would. I don't mind nor miss the 12-15 a month, considering we usually order pizza or something for 30 bucks and that's gone the next morning (cooking ftw).
This is going to be my second MMO ever. I hope it good
Same here, I might how much it gonna cost the service for the server... hmmmmm, maybe there be ads on the game... I guess if the game is free of charge.
I want to hear more about this and I like the graphic style their going with. Being able to switch between 1st and 3rd person should please shooting fans in general. I also hope its free too.
Considering that The Agency is an MMO for PS3 and PC, I didn't expect it to look pretty but I'm loving the graphical style for it. It has definitely improved since the last time I saw it. And I do expect it to look better by it's release in 09. Looking forward to it.
people they have 1 year to work on this game stop sodding the gfx off man this game has to beat huxley too ya no i think it will really.........
seems very interesting doesn't look that bad all(for an mmo) they have to do is clean up the jaggies. Sorta seems like..Team Fortress type graphics but for an mmo: http://www.n4g.com/ViewImag...
sry but this looks crappy.
but look at the images attached to the story because gamestop images are resized weird. Graphics try this: http://www.gametrailers.com...
But the concept seems cool enough. I'm not too sold on the whole MMO idea just yet. I'm not sure I'd spend the money like you WOW fans. :P
As of now Im not impressed, hopefully with time that changes
wow.. wow.. hold it right there.... so, you sony fanboys are ok with these graphics? before anything, let me make it clear that I think the graphics are great... loving it... why? because it's an MMO and MMO environments are wide and have lots of things going which is the reason why they can't look like Gears or Kill Zone 2.... but If I remember correctly a little xbox 360 game called Huxley got murdered by the Sony fanboys which happends to look a lot better than this game in terms of graphics... so, now that there is an MMO PS3 game that does not look like Kill Zone 2.... can you know it all Sony fanboys tell us why this is the case? It should clearly the double standard of these Sony fanboys... crazy... lol... funny too. ohh here... are some picture so you can compare what you were flaming...(see pictures)
ofc ps3 fans are 1 sided all ps3 games look underpar comapred to most ps3 games still they deny it.all 360 2008 exclusive are better than the ps3 exclusive but they deny it,huxley is on another lvl to this game uncharted looks liek ajoke but still they deny it.
Every gawdamn post you make is crying about some invisible fanboys. Fix your mind kid.
You are Gay
I dig the art style, the stylized realism/TF2 hybrid they've chosen works well with the world. I prefer that more than "bland military shooter character man and urban city #09721072".
It does look like a hybrid of TF2/Realism. It looks to much like a PS2 game right now, though. I'll judge it when it's atleast in beta staging. Either way this game looks like it'll be fun.
This is definitely an interesting concept, and it seems fail-safe if they use a TF style of presentation. It seems to give the players more character and expression. Of course there will be critics of this, but those judgments should be reserved until an open-beta is released.
Gameplay>graphics and I don't know why but the graphics remind me of teamfortress 2
The Reason why they chose that form of graphics is because they want the game to have a long lifespan and the cartoony feel lets it do that, As well as the fact that they want it to be a great MMO with different things going on in the same frame at the same time. Games like gears of war and uncharted, have you wondered why they cant have lots of characters on screen at once. So people the graphics is good coz its gon stand the test of time !!!
Didn't both Gears and Uncharted feature battles with well over a dozen enemies?
@ Skerj I'm not sure about Uncharted (haven't played it) but I'm almost positive Gears didn't have battles with a dozen enemy soldiers. The most I can remember would probably be around 8.
ugly white a$$ wanna be me lol go get some height yo 5 feet tall dum wanksta wigga http://www.youtube.com/watc... people look at that mofo
. . . What the [email protected] did you just say? O_o
These screenshots are just proof that you can label a used toilet seat as "Sony Exclusive" and they will buy it. Seriously, those screen shots are HORRIBLE! There PS1 worthy. Perfect Dark Zero looks about a 1000 times better than this. I challenge any sony droid in here to give me a decent reply.
as long as u r a stupid Xbot , I dont car what u said (sony droid! ) have u ever seen Team Fortress 2 ? it has a unique artstyle.. I know its really not Complete nextgen.. but its nice for me.. I love Team Fortress Artstyle more than anythin else.. in my opinon agency looks pretty, because its sth like TF2... but about Huxley .. its not pretty atall.. its just a Directx9 game with some improvments.. it hasnt any unique artstyle or NEW tech in graphics..so its BS for me..
The up and coming title the Agency, Is on target for a future MMO gaming standard. This title alone supasses any Xbox title to date, even in the current alpha test phase. Hostilities and mindless rants only prove an average consumers fear an doubts about their technological choice in their dying belief system. Xbox has proved nothing leaving their hardcore fan base out in the new year to catch cold and die. The agency will push the utmost limits and reality of gaming, grabbing both gamer and game, and finally crossing the line between reality and fiction, in unison blurring that line if not erasing it completely, leaving us, the consumer, high on our hard one........
isn't this game gonna have cross-platform multiplayer online between ps3 n pc?? i think i heard someone say that not sure though.
