However i expect more cheaper players this year

I am anticipating a sub 200$ player from the TAIWANESE manufacturers by mid 2008

a BD ROM already has gone down to <200$ if you are unaware and would be launched by SONY within afew weeks as announced at CES

$299.99?! It's a start. Make them affordable for everyone standing on the sidelines ready for High-Definition movies.

However you can get a <200$ BD ROM for your PC and then connect it to HD TV .

so you can also get a decent BD drive for <200$ within a few weeks

This is for the sad HD DVD fanboys.

well hopefully the death of hd-dvd won't stop the prices from coming down. I expect price drops on both the ps3 and stand alone blu ray blu ray should try to hit 200 before the end of the yr. They need to get the hi def market rolling
