GameStyle - Wrecked: Revenge Revisited review

GameStyle - Sometimes there are games from the past that you look at and want to see re-released on modern consoles. You don't want anything done to them, just re-packaged and sold, with maybe minor adjustments for higher resolution screens. Games have made the jump, from Rayman 3 and Metal Gear Solid, to Silent Hill and Devil May Cry, all big titles, all released to mixed receptions. However, there was a game released in the PS3 and XBOX era that may not have sold as many copies as the biggest games of the time, but it had a firm fan base and when news of a sequel (of sorts) for XBLA was announced, hopes were raised.

Console Domination: Wrecked Revenge Revisited Review

Console Domination writes: Who remembers Micro Machines by Codemasters on the good old 8 &16 bit consoles? Well I do and when you have 4 friends playing all together things get nasty but a lot of fun. Due to popularity the same developers created a new series on the Xbox and Ps2 called Mashed Fully loaded which was far superior to Micro Machines. Weapons were now added to the mix and beautiful rendered backgrounds but kept pretty much the same point system and team mode. Supersonic Software (Ex Codemasters) have now come out of the woodworks and released the sequel, for on the PSN and Xbox Live networks under the name Wrecked Revenge Revisited.
